Taken in early Apr. '97 (the stars will pinpoint the exact date if anyone really cares), from Hueco Tanks, on the east side of the rocks so they block the city glow from the west. I used my hand-guider gizmo described in Sci Am early this year. It works great, for something hammered out of stuff laying around the garage. The exposure was 3 min with Fuji 800 and a 1:1 53mm lens at f4. The upper trail is a satellite; the lower an airliner. Note the absence of star trails - proof the crude yet primitive hand-guider works !
