This one was taken early in the morning, near the point where the Escalante
River begins and the lake ends. I had been cruising for about an hour,
pre-dawn, at low-throttle in shallow water, navigating from the bow -
my favorite position. If I had have waited a bit, all my wavelets would
have died out and I could have gotten a better picture.
Escalante canyon is _very_ cool. A labyrinth of watery passages and hideaways, many narrower than the boat. |
